annnd The Curtain Call

The curtain call for all the pretty frocks and now I feel like I'm all dressed up with no place to go. Party? Anyone? Anyone?

Budget? What budget! Get theee to a Lilly store tout de suite! I must have the Abella dress printed for at least one holiday party...

To appease those pesky budget gods I've found this Ralph Lauren Silk One-Shoulder dress on sale...

Buuut...I'm back in trouble with this Kara Janx beauty...

Another fabulously priced Lauren offering with this Abril Silk Dupioni Wrap dress to make up for...

This. Vaguely reminiscent of the Oscar de la Renta dress Aleksandr Petrovsky bought Carrie Bradshaw thus fulfilling my every girl's fantasy...

I'm plum outta excuses and sacrificial sale items for the sinfulness of this Notte by Marchesa Ruched Floral-Print Silk-Organza temptress...

But, leave it to good ole Meg Carter to help me come out looking like a budget minded angel with her offer of a free pair of studs with every order placed during the rest of the month. Now lookie there. Money saved and lovely accessories to go with your new dress to boot...

Kindness of Elle for allowing me to spend her money as opposed to Babe's. Now, why do I have a feeling any holiday party invites sent to his email will silently be regretted then disposed of? Guess I'll just have to suit up in case one happens to slip through the Babe cracks...XXOO

ps...Our fav funny girl at Tickled Pink and Green has moved back into the blogspot hood and I promised to help hand out the change of address cards. Cue the Jeffersons theme song...

  3. I like the dress in the fifth pink. The link is a repeat of the Ralph Lauren dress (it was his b-day yesterday). The dress makes me think of Givenchy design for Audrey Hepburn.

  8. oh, to be young enough for that Kara Janx stunner......although, I probably couldn't have pulled it off when I was young.....

That de la Renta-esque frock, however, is calling my name.

  10. Are you sure that you were not a concierge or a personal shopper in your last life? It seems in the "genes" - you are a natural budget devil....
