My husband had a buy one blizzard get one free coupon and last weekend this was my choice. It took me a few days to finish it. (it is really good though so it was worth savoring).
Okay your blog is killing me! lol First those delicious looking scones and now ice cream, DQ no less? Uggggh! So yummy though and so worth it! Last night it was Haagen-Dazs White chocolate and raspberry ice cream with chocolate truffles! heee heee sinfully deeeelicious!
This is such a coincidence because I hadn't been to a Dairy Queen in forever and then just a couple of weeks ago while vacationing in Palm Beach, we spotted one in Delray Beach and decided to go. I got one of those blizzard thingies in chocolate chocolate chunk (or whatever) and it was heaven. I had my high school reunion coming up so I felt guilty the whole time I was eating it, but reunion is over and I'm going in search for a Dairy Queen! Haven't seen one around here, but I'm on a mission now. Thin mints were always the only Girl Scout cookie I liked (and sold)...
This is why there should be a DQ in the Dallas bubble. I might just have to drive and find one tomorrow though, Thin Mints cannot wait for Edina next week!
Grrrr....Meredith & I drove earlier today to a Dairy Queen (in a questionable area) looking for the Thin Mint blizzard and NADA! All they had was the Tag-a-Long one. I was ticked....
I am a tongue-in-cheek bon vivant living in Greenwich, CT with my globe trotting husband Babe and our nutty Himalayans, George and Lolly Rockefeller.
Rendezvous with me, an old school prep, as I juggle aspirations of being on the "Best Dressed Parisienne Gypset List", endless summering, Hermès wish lists, Diet Coke and pretzel lunches, white bikinis, PTH's, sisters, nieces, bff's, all things Lilly, Mrs. Roper and the resurrection of the Jacques Cohen espadrille.
scones, and then this.
