What Money Can't Buy

It's easy to dress the part, but significantly more impressive to act it. Let's start this week off on the proper foot...

Thank you to LPC at
Privilege and Bitsy at Bitsy and Olive for the kind awards they bestowed upon me. I truly, truly appreciate the thoughtful sentiments. Especially so when they arrive via two true blue preps! XXOO

  2. I have this on my "board" and love these sentiments.
I think that it is true, to give voice to our heart is so important. (I think my inner voice is telling me to post about the Tiffany window I spotted in Chicago!) I did think of you....

  3. Great Post - Its so simple and well said. Its an ad w/o really being one directly and with advertising costs at an all time high (and usually the first budget slashed) its nice to see Tiffany not taking the easy road...

  5. Allie...basic courtesies and fundemental codes of behavior. How quickly it has escaped most of society. I was on a shuttle bus at the Atlanta airport yesterday-picking up LFG. I had to admonish other GROWN MEN to give up their seats to women who boarded the shuttle. It would still be in poor form if the women were younger but these ladies were in their seventies. I was shocked. I embarrased the guys and they deserved every moment of it.

  6. My daughter, Rachael, who is 9 months pregnant, had to stand on the DC metro Friday. NO ONE, and I mean NO ONE gave up their seat for her. I was absolutely shocked, but mostly saddened when she told me this.

ADG, it really makes me sad that this behavior has 'trickled' down south. That's very discouraging.

  7. Allie, you are more than welcome for the award. This Tiffany credo is a perfect example of how you set the bar high. As well you should.
