Recipe For Lolly Cake

To make a Lolly cake you will need:

• Your sister's clean mixing bowl left on the counter for returning
• One mischievous, but extremely adorable, kitten

• A chef

First, leave clean mixing bowl unattended on the kitchen counter...

Then, have the chef mix vigorously by tauntingly walking circles around the bowl...

Allow kitten to rest...

Be sure to keep a close eye on your Lolly cake at all times throughout baking to thwart any attempts to topple itself...

Lounge around looking handsome while your cake rises...

After checking to make sure it has sufficiently risen, set the timer for baking...

These cakes are temperamental and will fall easily if not watched like a hawk...

Allow your Lolly cake to cool completely before serving or else they may find other, less benign entertainment like toppling your orchid...

Bon Appetit!

Kindness of my sister Julie for the chicken salad that Babe ate all weekend. Ya may wanna put your bowl through the washer oooone more time when ya get home. There may, or may not, have been some shenanigans involving a furry cooking duo and your bowl. I'd rewash it myself but, I have a feeling I'll be busy fielding calls from the execs at the Food Network...XXOO

  18. I love the post! The cats are too adorable for words. My Himalayan used to find the most interesting places for a nap. If the hubs wasn't allergic I would have another one.

  19. So cute! We have four Maine Coons - they love to get into whatever boxes I leave around for them - purposely for great photo ops like this! Sometimes the biggest cat literally stuffs himself into a tiny box!
