Since our slips do double duty as driving mocs they get considerable wear and tear. Toss in the fact that mine are actually hand-me-downs from Emma and you get a hint at the severity of the situation. Bad enough, that Babe brought home a pair of temps from the Palace last weekend...
Sooo, Hazmat Santa should be here any day now with a pair of UGG Dakota slippers in deep cobalt pour moi...
Annnd a pair of UGG Ascots in China Tea leather for Monsieur slipper snob whooo will kindly not look a gift Hazmat Santa in the nose by gripping about the price...
Kindness of Babe who will now resume all nightly foot rubbing when home. That ole stinky slipper excuse has run it's course dear sir...XXOO
Ah, warm furry on the inside slippers, one of life's great pleasures, except when they get stinky! I like both of your choices for new ones.
ReplyDeleteI'm wearing a pair of Dakotas in 'Chestnut' as I'm reading this and they are what my peds are wrapped in first thing every morning once it starts to get a little chilly. The 'Cobalt' are super-cute. And those Ascots are an excellent manly choice, ones that I might even consider for my own version of Babe, who is Ferragamo shod by day but putters around in heavy socks at night.
ReplyDeleteYou are such a riot. THIS is why I start every day with you.
ReplyDeleteXOXO
Babe & Tom Brady - real men do wear UGGs!
ReplyDeleteWhat is your secret to securing nightly foot rubs? Do tell!!!!
ReplyDeleteOhhh you've gotta come right out of the gate with that one CZ. That and all shopping habits...XXOO
ReplyDeleteMy feet feel loved just looking at those fuzzy photos. Ahh....
ReplyDeleteI have a pair of Dakotas and a pair of UGG clog-type slippers. Both are used indoors and for my daily trudge up and down the driveway to pick up/drop off my mail.
ReplyDeleteI am reconsidering my Tonka moccasin purchase for the Uggs after your post. They are ever so much more stylish!
