Chloe And Reese LB(or navy or plaid)D

Last weekend I launched a campaign to convince Babe that I need new clothes. Lots of new clothes. No home cooked meal or batting of the eyelashes child's play here. Nope. Dr. Smartypants prefers formal requests presented in well thought out deck format. Sooo, I've just completed my cocktail dress slides and I'm ready for my conference call Monsieur...

For your consideration, there's the Flirt Ruffle Satin Party Dress in midnight to be paired with my blackwatch cashmere shawl and a flute of champers...

Or, would you prefer me in the très Grace Kellyesque Satin Strapless Dress with Pleats? Same color, same accessories just a smidge more sophisticated silhouette...

And the last of the navy contenders, the Silk Georgette Ruffle Dress with my Nana's mink shawl...

This Silk Faille option thinks it would be shown in it's best light with a peek of red soles...

Now, if St. Anthony would kindly consider expediting his search for the missing navy wool shawl my Mom bought me in Ireland, I could entertain the Schoolgirl Pleated Dress option...

But, in the li'l more preppy and a li'l less Britney Windsor plaid...

Or, we could keep things short and sweet with the Silk Faille Party Skirt and one of my B² french cuff shirts. Of cooourrrse, snazzy new enamel cuff links would be in order but, that's a whole other slide that's not quite ready for presenting...

Sherman Pickey is hosting a Chloe and Reese
trunk show today through Saturday and, unless they plan on manning the phones like a Sotheby's auction, this interested party can only be there in spirit...

Kindness of Babe who will take into consideration that the chosen dress will be pulling double duty at his office Christmas party annnd New Year's Eve in Paris. That is the end of my presentation and I await your feedback sir. Btw, anything special you'd like for dinner this weekend? batbatbat...XXOO

  1. I was convinced you would be on high alert for a vintage YSL "Le Smoking" as they were called, or a similar piece from another atelier Parisienne...tell Babe I think you deserve les deux...office Xmas dress and something terribly sophisticated for Paris...XOXO

  2. The full skirted, strapless choices are my favs, hands down...with the silk faille in first place. More sophisticated, less shiny.

  5. DYING to know what you picked? I've loved C&R since I wore the 4th option down in pink to my rehearsal dinner.
