This One Goes Out to Camilla

A couple of weeks ago, Camilla Bradley posted about her over the border attempt to eat 50 fish tacos in 4 days during the "CKB Taco Tally Challenge". She ended the challenge three tacos shy of her goal but, a very impressive showing just the same.

Ummm, I'm thinking we ditch the Kiawah Half Marathon Kimba...I wanna try to eat a boatload of fish tacos while chasing the sun in Mehico!

But, because I know Kimba will more than likely not go for my suggested change to our December itinerary, I'll shall have to satisfy my love of the fish taco north of the border. More precisely, here in my ole G'town kitchen...

Just so happens, I've been collecting fish taco recipes (click on pics to enlarge) for such a home based challenge. And, as promised Camilla, I'm happy to share with a fellow aficionado...Bueno Appetit!

Kindness of CKB for being such a good sport in this neck of the woods on quite a regular basis...XXOO

  2. Dear Allie in Gtown,
I consider tacos a major food group. Can't wait for the recipes. My husband especially loves fish tacos. Thanks for sharing, Denise

  5. Yum. I love fish tacos. I cannot, however, IMAGINE 50 in 4 days...Think about it. That's 12.5 per day. Hmm. Wait. Maybe I can imagine it:). As long as you have have all different kinds of salsa, right?

  6. Me and Fish Tacos mentioned simultaneously. YUM. And hot damn...those recipes look GOOD! I feel like there should be 'Fish Taco Off' or tasting in all of our neck of the woods...and then we can report back. I have realized that when I think of Tacos, it is always a hard shell...but having traveled through Mejico...I find that those hard tacos are something of an American version. So long live soft tortillas and all the toppings!

Now the picture challenge...You in your CKB Picadilly dress man handling an overflowing Fish Taco. Might even make the front page of the website...Hmmmmm?
