Ummm, I'm thinking we ditch the Kiawah Half Marathon Kimba...I wanna try to eat a boatload of fish tacos while chasing the sun in Mehico!
But, because I know Kimba will more than likely not go for my suggested change to our December itinerary, I'll shall have to satisfy my love of the fish taco north of the border. More precisely, here in my ole G'town kitchen...
Just so happens, I've been collecting fish taco recipes (click on pics to enlarge) for such a home based challenge. And, as promised Camilla, I'm happy to share with a fellow aficionado...Bueno Appetit!
Kindness of CKB for being such a good sport in this neck of the woods on quite a regular basis...XXOO
We had fish tacos over the weekend, lots of lime and lots of red onion! HAAA!
ReplyDeleteDear Allie in Gtown,
ReplyDeleteI consider tacos a major food group. Can't wait for the recipes. My husband especially loves fish tacos. Thanks for sharing, Denise
ooohhh, the second recipe looks perfect for fulfilling my fish taco craving without sabotaging the post-summer-return-to-rational-eating-and-drinking plan!
ReplyDeletethanks :-)
Mmmmmm these look yummy!
ReplyDeleteI will have to try fish tacos someday!
Yum. I love fish tacos. I cannot, however, IMAGINE 50 in 4 days...Think about it. That's 12.5 per day. Hmm. Wait. Maybe I can imagine it:). As long as you have have all different kinds of salsa, right?
ReplyDeleteMe and Fish Tacos mentioned simultaneously. YUM. And hot damn...those recipes look GOOD! I feel like there should be 'Fish Taco Off' or tasting in all of our neck of the woods...and then we can report back. I have realized that when I think of Tacos, it is always a hard shell...but having traveled through Mejico...I find that those hard tacos are something of an American version. So long live soft tortillas and all the toppings!
ReplyDeleteNow the picture challenge...You in your CKB Picadilly dress man handling an overflowing Fish Taco. Might even make the front page of the website...Hmmmmm?
Yummy! I've never actually tried fish tacos, but I ended my summer with a yummy steak taco last night.
ReplyDeleteOhhh, challenge accepted Camilla...Although, it may have to wait til after I debut my purchase in October. Wouldn't want to show up at Barker's wedding with tomatillo-avocaado relish stains on my snazzy new Picadilly frock...XXOO
ReplyDeleteCrave fish tacos. Besides having amazing ones at Wahoo's out in CA I had amazing ones at Matt's El Rancho this weekend in Austin.
