All's Quiet On The Southern Front

Well, the big move-ins at the respective colleges went off with nary a hitch...

Hilary was the first to get settled in Columbia and all four of us worked fast and fashionably to set up the dorm digs just so...

Next up was Emma who parted ways with us in Charlotte and headed to Greenvulle on her own to handle her move-in with roomie and bestie from high school, Caroline.

I had to shed a tear of pride when she emailed me the pics of the finished product...

Just goes to prove the ole adage, the apple doesn't fall far from the preppy aunt tree...

It wasn't long before the girls reunited for a weekend of tailgating and football at Furman...

And, then a road trip to Charleston for some much needed sun and shopping. Looks like they're doing just fine on their own...

Although...I may take it upon myself to send this pic of Emma sporting vintage CKB at the tailgate to Camilla for her "Caught in CK Bradley" album. Even several states away, an aunt's work is never done...

  2. Now why am I thinking that these girls do not lack for a social life:)? Good thing we are now allowed to be both pretty AND smart...

  4. What cute dorm rooms! They didn't have as much cute back-to-school dorm stuff when I traveled to Charleston as a freshman. However, I stayed true to my preppy spirit with Ralph Lauren bedding.
