Dear Lilly Pulitzer...

Dearest Lilly Pulitzer,

After nearly a decade and a half of faithful, fashionable service, my beloved bathrobe is starting to show it's age...

And, in bathrobe years, a decade and a half is ooold...

As in, ready to be put out to pasture old...

So dearest Lilly, would you please consider resurrecting the bathrobe? For my tattered and faded pink servant deserves to live out her remaining year(s) in a dignified retirement...

Hanging by a thread,
Allie von Summersverb

Kindness of the design team at Lilly Pulitzer who will also consider a terry lined option. This li'l Mid-Atlantic beach gal is about to face down her first New England winter...XXOO

  1. I just hate it when a well-used and loved item has to be retired. You will definitely need a warm robe for New England winters!

  3. As a transplant from DC to North of Boston nine years ago may I suggest a plethora of FLEECE to bolster your winter clothing position....and SWEATERS, lots of sweaters!

  4. You should ask them to make it fleece lined!

  6. I had the same idea. Fleece lined will be a lot warmer!

  7. Though not the same, Roberta Roller Rabbitt does make robes (not fleece-lined, unfortunately). Might be a good alternative in a pinch.

  8. You know, you could get some fresh and newnLilly P fabric and have a tailor make you a new one? And have the collar taken off of that one and make it into a beach tunic or faux wrap coverup? Just an idea

  13. Lilly does (or did!) make terry-lined bathrobes! I have one that I purchased from one of the Lilly Ruelala sales a few years ago. Definitely worth trying to hunt one down.
