Turning A Lemon Into Ginger Lemon Cremes

Well, after no less than 2 hours on the phone, 3 techs, a 2 hour round trip to the closest full service Verizon, another hour logged in the First circle of Hell store diagnosing and exchanging a dud and, fiiinallyyy my replacement iPhone is activated...

In a generous attempt to salvage my weekend Babe went out and bought the cables needed to hook my computer up to the TV for watching instant Netflix downloads...

Lolls oversaw the install operation...

Then hightailed it to the kitchen to to lay out a proper tray of English biscuits and tea for her Grace...

And, then it was the period drama series Downton Abbey til Daddy could take no more...

Kindness of my long lost, sniffle sniffle, BBM buds
Kappa Prep and Beantown Prepster for the faaabulous Downton Abbey recommendation. Also, my family for taking such good care of me annnd for turning a blind eye to the amount of biscuits that disappeared...XXOO

  1. How great is Downton Abbey? I can't wait for more episodes to come out. I got to spend the week at the beach (OBX not FI, DE), and thought of you. This is the life!

  4. Downton Abbey was sooooo good. It's still resting on my DVR even though I'm normally fastidious about watching and deleting. Bates! Violet, Dowager Countess of Grantham! The only bad part was when it was over but even then you learn that they are filming more. Glad you enjoyed!

  6. Downton Abbey is wonderful but it ended much sooner than I expected so be prepared! It was very disappointing because I wanted it to go on another 12 hours...second season is filming now so maybe it'll be on next winter?

  7. Ahhh, that looks good. I'll have to check it out on Netflix and since my bod is not quite as stellar as your's I'll have to skip the refreshments.

  15. I loved Downton Abbey too. According to this article, two hours of the plot was eliminated for the US viewers!
