Break Out The Cigars

Poor Pilgie (who is rockin the nickname Pisowww these days) is still nursing his broken heart and desperately missing Templeton...

But, that sweet Tatsie is still looking out for his family from heaven and has hand picked a lil furry angel to be born into our lives...

A few days ago Pilgie's sister Lacey gave birth to a litter of two...

And, Templeton thinks we should have the little grey female...

So now Pigie is preparing to take his wee niece under his wing and school her in the art of bravery, acrobatics, la familia and the burden of having an ever evolving nickname...

And, of course, lots of Mummy smothering...

Looks like that snuggle gene doesn't fall far from the Pilgie tree...

So, hang in there Pips, only seven weeks til our gift from Tatsie arrives...

Kindness of Pilgie's surrogate Mummy Julie Akers for keeping us updated with pics and stories til our little girl is ready to become a part of our family. And, most especially, our beloved Templeton for still watching over us...XXOO

  14. First of all .... awwwwww - what a sweet, wee dear to bring into your beautiful family. What a lucky kitten to have so many people (and especially her new mommy-to-be) already loving her.

Second of all ... isn't Pilgie the nickname of George? Your nicknames have nicknames? GET OUT - you are too cute for words.

  15. Yes, he was Christened George Washington Rockefeller but, his nickname is "The Pilge". And, that is ever evolving. This week it's Pisowww, said with a hint of a Chinese accent and emphasis on "owww"...XXOO

  21. Too adorable! Congrats and enjoy. I am sure that Pilgie's spirits will soar- as will yours and Babe's as kittens are inherently joy inducing.

  22. Hi, I've been reading your blog for over a little over two years and I've never posted a comment(shame on me), but I just had to "de-lurk" today. That little angel sent from your Templeton in heaven is just too darling! My husband and I - staunch cat lovers and the proud parents of three furry cuties - were just squealing in excitement, we are so happy for you and Babe. I can't wait to see pictures!

  23. Joy & happiness for your family!
Our dear Francis Albert Sinatra, mostly known as Frank, is often called "Tom" who was our beloved and who I still miss dearly... I don't think Franklin minds all that much, thank goodness.
    Best,
