So, Babe may have his "smartypants", Maxminimus his "GTH pants" (and La Perla fantasies) but, I am quite content with my colorful stack of Cosabella Never Say Never Hottie Lowrider Hotpants. Pretty, comfortable and, above all, easy peasy, coordinate with your Lilly or Crew shorts du jour, bottoms...
And, after years of frustration, and mostly donning Patagonia's sports version, I have found my go to bra in the Only Hearts Seconds Skins Underwire...And, my idea of putting on the underdog, their Stretch Lace Underwire bra. Until Babe's smartypants make us richypants, the yearly Eres and La Perla wardrobes will have to be placed on the back burner...
Kindness of all my male readers who will forgive me two things; one, posting on female underwear and two, posting on boring female underwear. Y'all come back now, ya hear...XXOO
You had me at "panties."
ReplyDeleteFar from boring, my friend! And the hotpants are tres cute, love that color!
ReplyDeleteHope you are having a great week!
I love the cotton undies from mono-prix from paris.
ReplyDeleteJust plain cotton, nice and lite and inexpensive. (side from the flight)

I'm a Hanes girl. Can't get any more pedestrian then that I suppose. I do like the Cosabella's though.
ReplyDeleteWish more women would ditch the "thong" look and go with hot pants. Oooo lala. No apology necessary Mrs. Babe.
ReplyDeleteRHW
p.s. And it's "y'all", not "ya'll".
I echo Main Line man. And it ain't boring if you gots an imagination.
ReplyDeleteAllie - I do not think your gentlemen readers will be unhappy with this post! And don't forget to go to Sylene next time you are in DC...I'm not sure if they stock any of these brands but the selection and client service is our of this world.
ReplyDeleteIf you like Cosabella, you should scope out Hanky Panky as well! Its similar with cute colorful lace... and so comfortable!
ReplyDeleteLove the panties! Lace with the right amount of stretch and wide sides is so flattering on most shapes while still being incredibly sexy. Good call!
ReplyDeleteThey're not that boring! I love frilly sexy lingerie but it's impossible to wear under clothes- they just create weird bumps and lines! Ugh. These look pretty good actually....
ReplyDeleteWhat a great post!
ReplyDeleteWould you consider revealing your toiletry/dopp kit selections next? I am finally admitting defeat with my beloved Liberty of London toiletry bag, which was a high school graduation present and thus long past its prime...I can't seem to find any replacements that don't scream tacky to me...would be ever so grateful,as I have no doubt yours is all kinds of chic...
Merci beaucoup!
Great recommendation on the Seconds Skins Underwire brassiere...functional without being dowdy!
ReplyDeleteI'll put the dopp kit post in the hopper. But, for now I can reveal mine are T. Anthony and CK Bradley. And, I love them...XXOO
ReplyDeleteOh if only Lily made something big enough to put these bahonkers in. Nope. I need the expensive underwires you can park a Buick in.
ReplyDeleteKathie...be nicer to yourself. Don't ever call 'em bahonkers again.
ReplyDeleteThank you! I have just resigned myself to rediscovering underwires. These things become necessary, and I'm a Sturdy Gal all the way. Not too far from Sporty, in fact. I will give that bra a try.
ReplyDeleteAs a former lingerie saleswoman at Nordies and various boutiques, I appreciate this post! I LOVE Fleur't and Only Hearts. For bras I go for Marie Jo (which I think you would like), Fantasie, and Freya.
