Our Mummy Dearest

That's right, I'm guarding the velvet rope today and there will be no access because our mummy is not feeling well. She received some disheartening news yesterday so daddy, Tat's and I are watching over her and making sure she knows how much we love her.

We have her tucked into bed watching "He's Just Not That Into You" and are periodically showering her with kisses and snuggles. Just between you and me, Tat's and I are a little nervous that her energies are shifting and we are about to be dressed in Lilly Pulitzer's Mommy and Minnie looks. Keep an eye out for embedded distress signals in upcoming posts. TTFN....

  8. Dear Allie,
Your cats know when you need them most - I went through an odd time a few months back and both my cats took very good care of me. I'll think good thoughts for you!

  10. I'm sorry to hear about you on your posting today. Your cats are very kind to fill in for you. My cat can not type. She says it's because she doesn't have thumbs but I don't really think she's trying.
I'm an anonymous ear if you need me!

  16. Well, the fact that you're on the verge of dressing the cats in your 'twin girls' clothes gives me an inkling on what might be going on. Oh, Allie. I don't know what to say because there are no words. I can't tell you that I know how you feel, because I don't. And nothin' is worse than people trying to say 'words' just to make you feel better, because it just doesn't work.

Know that I care about you, and that I am sitting across town thinking about you. And praying for you.

    Kathie
