Cookie Coma

After a four day "tour of gluttony" that included eating our weight in Katie Lee Joel cookie dough, previously banned Diet Cokes and Sauvignon Blanc, Five Guys burgers and pizza from two different joints, we are waving the white flag.

The alarm is set, and the SIGG, workout shoes, iPod and US mag are all neatly lined up by the front door. Please God, pleassseee...if we do penance at the gym in the morning will you help us get back on track and into all our new summer finery? Whaaa...??? Yes God, I promise to make mummy throw out our open bag of unused chocolate chips...sniffle, sniffle...

  1. Ha! We are on the same page. I am headed out the door soon to run off last night's dinner and last weekend's meals which produced a similar coma effect. Love your blog!

  3. Allie- Your cats have definite model potential! Especially Pilge!
PS- I recall reading that the Oriental breeds of cats make their surroundings beautiful...definitely true of your furballs!

  4. Way to go - put up your paws for a little penance!
Bring home fresh veggies and fruits in lieu of those sinful treats...me-ow.

  8. LFG and I are in the midst of a "food that will kill you" tour. And she's not a picky eater so she'll give everything a "go". She and I had a serious debate the other day over the merits of Five Guys and Johnny Rockets. Both have great merit. Johnny Rockets chilli-cheese fries are my downfall. I still wear the exact same sizes that I did in college but I fear that my "cardio pipes" are a mess.

Pass the biscuits-gravy and the cardioversion shock paddles...CLEAR!
