Sun Hasn't Set On Summer Items Quite Yet

A couple of weeks ago one of my favorite gals, Erin from Let the Tide Pull Your Dreams Ashore, posted this pic of her DIY très preppy water cooler...

You know me, I was quick outta the gate on that li'l project and ordered my 2 Preppy Girls 3 inch decal immediately...

While Babe took care of getting me the fuchsia Igloo cooler at Dicks Sporting Goods...

A couple of days later it was peel, place, press...

Et voilà!

Let the fading begin...

Kindness of Erin at
Let the Tide Pull Your Dreams Ashore for her fantastic idea and tutorial. Also, Babe for including the pink Igloo cooler in my birthday loot pile. I know, I know...you wish I would get this excited about $6 items more often...XXOO

  1. love it, now do i go ahead and buy the monogram now, or should I just wait until I get married so I can use my new one?

  4. So cute! Between that and the (in)famous towel, you're really "bringing it" to the shores of Fenwick Island!

  5. I'm definitely heading to Dick's this weekend. I've got a monogram from 2PGs and I couldn't decide where to put it.

The tennis team will be so jealous next week! :)

  6. Oooo I love the decals! I have my monogram on the back window of my car - the plus side is people always know it's my car....the down side is people always know it's my car lol! No sneaking around unnoticed!

  8. I'm loving your beach bag. Source, please. I don't think it's LLBean because I don't think that they have a pink tote.

Thanks. Babe is a keeper with how he spoils you. You deserve it.

  9. Just got back from LA and had to check in with your blog as my first order of business. I LOVE this monogram idea and think the matching beer cooler on wheels for tailgating is also a great idea. Where is your tote from? LLBean doesn't have any pink bags of late. Missed you and am happy to have the moving scoop too.

  10. I really need to get on the bandwagon and get a monogram sticker pronto - so many things to monogram, so little time. :)

  12. Thanks for a GREAT post!!! Love that you showed before during and after of the cooler!!!

OK, but ladies, be careful what you have your heart set on monogramming - I would LOVE to monogram our regular old Igloo Ice Chest but it won't stick to that grainy surface...

If you place and order with me, mention this post and I'll send you 2 Monograms for the price of ONE!!!! WHOOHOOOOOO!!!!

    Collars Up!!

  13. I expected to see the Hermes beach towel peeking out of your tote!!!

Love the cooler, the large size means less time running back to the house for re-fills and more time basking in the sun!

  14. I love the cooler decal system.

I can see introducing it to my readers who ache for "ADMIRAL COD" on the sides of ultra-sized G&T and margarita containers.

Tell me, is it "shout outs" OR "shouts out"??

  15. Babe says it's "shout out/outs". But, I can't find where the crime was committed to fix edit...XXOO

  16. Love the personalized cooler, and love even more that Erin's initials are ESA, as in Eastern Surfing Association!
