That'll Teach Me

Mere seconds after I sent this pic text to Babe of General Hah-nah-nin-nah-non (term of endearment du jour) giving his best salesman pose perched on one of the garden stools that accompanied me home from a li'l shopping excursion to Westport earlier today, there came a loud POP from the street and then blackness...

Guess that was the Universe letting me the General know it didn't appreciate my his attempt to hustle a distracted Daddy at his business dinz.  Welp, at least with the lights out he won't be able to inspect the price tags upon his arrival home...

Kindness of Daddy for buying the Ti-Babes their perches so they can see out the windows and stop using Mummy's desk as a daybed. And, everyone else for excusing the low quality pic in this last minute post due to the outage. That, and my priority shift to making sure Rachel Zoe still gets DVR'd...XXOO

  1. Bet those glorious garden stools didn't come from WalMart. I thought the same thing as Tickled Pink and Green: YOU, at WalMart????

Always admiring your exquisite taste. Yesterday's comment about RL lamps were of pure jealousy, hope that was clear!! Ps your orchids are amazing... I bought about 6 two months ago and two are pretty much kaputt already. What's your secret?

    Greetings from Germany!

  3. That is just a fabulous photo of Pilge on the garden stool -- I would say that even if it wasn't green! And those cats might have snazzy window perches now, but I doubt they will relinquish their day bed/desk. Hope the power is back on now.

  4. I left a comment on Monday's post sharing my limited knowledge of orchid care. And, of course I knew you had no ill intent behind your RL lamp comment :)

  5. Allie -- your home looks soooo chic!! I am sure beloved gwynie would approve!
Once you get settled, would you mind giving your loyal readers a virtual tour of your abode?!

  6. Love your new garden stool. I thought you were going to say that somehow it had been toppled and chipped--a power outage is a much better outcome, albeit inconvenient.
