Speaking of Daddy on vaca...his inquiry du jour is "What's in the pipeline Babe?" usually followed by, "I know there's a box rolling around in the back of some UPS truck somewhere making it's way here." Fortunately, all incoming deliveries have been gifts like the Mexican Picante and Soy Sauce from a très thoughtful Maryland Pink and Green. Way to throw him off the scent Bethany...
Next to arrive was the swanky Devon Baer turtle belt I won from Horse Hound and Home's recent giveaway...
Kindness of the ladies for their placebo packages and Templeton for being selfless right up til the end...XXOO
And, just in case Daddy wasn't sufficiently distracted by the whole "gift" thing, Templeton inserted himself into the scene to play the sympathy card on Mama's behalf...

Your kitty looks so sweet. Such a difficult time. We know it is not a child, but still, our pets do become our "babies". You and Templeton and in my thoughts (cause I'm a sucker for animals--and nice people).
ReplyDeleteDuring these trying times with Mr.T. Little packages in the pipeline sure must make you both feel a little better. Packages always make me feel better.

ReplyDeleteI'm so, so sorry about precious Templeton. I can just picture him resting in style in that sunroom. I know this such a difficult time for both of you (and Pilgie and Babe) and am thinking about you all. xxoo
ReplyDeleteI hope Templeton's days are filled with comfort as he enjoys the sun porch and his meds...make yourself and Babe one of the Mexican cocktails and join him on the porch - family hospice style ;)
ReplyDeleteOh Allie, my heart goes out to you and Templeton. May he enjoy the sunshine and bird-watching. He is lucky to have a deluxe luxury hospice- and you!
ReplyDeleteSo sad for your little Templeton - I know what it's like to go through something like this. Love that turtle belt - gorgeous!! I may have to place an order for my own pipeline!
ReplyDeleteI wish you all peace. No kitty(ies) ever had it better.
ReplyDeleteMy thoughts are with you and Templeton. Bird watching & prezzies are a pleasant distraction during this difficult time.

Poor Templeton, I hope you're holding up though.
ReplyDeleteI'm FINALLY able to resurface into blog-land after a few weeks of work-induced absenteeism, and have thoroughly enjoyed catching up on your blog. How I've missed reading it.
Loving the belt too by the way.
XoXo!
Thinking about you and poor Templeton. He's a lucky cat to have such a good mommy who allows him to bird watch all afternoon.

ReplyDeletePoor Allie and of course, that gorgeous "puddy tat". May he rest happily under the warmth of your kind attention, and may the trinkets provide you with some comfort- though they pale in comparison, I am sure.
