I dusted everyone at the door and within minutes had narrowed my selections down to this pale pink Hampton Deluxe number...
And, Babe's vote, the Hampton Brownie in white...
I've spent days waxing and waning between the two and, just when I think I've settled on the white, Lilly goes and throws a swanky wrench into the mix. Back to the cruisin board...
Whichever set of wheels I end up with will most definitely be sporting a Nantucket Bike Basket...
Kindness of poor Babe who was originally the one in the market for a bike. All I know is we left the house with that intention and came home with a bigger wish list for moi...XXOO

So glad that Babe knows about this purchase because I'm just not sure you could hide a bicycle and then nonchalantly ride it through the living room with Pilgie in tow onto the street for a little jaunt in the summer rays. :-) Whatever you choose - can't go wrong as long as you have the basket :-) xoxo
ReplyDeleteI just purchased the Trak-PURE Deluxe Lowstep in creamy yellow with a Nantucket basket. It is so comfortable, I could ride all day!
ReplyDeleteI posted about it with a photo if you'd like to check it out.

I highly recommend it.
But how could you not go with Lilly or a bike namd after ones favorite summer spot. Show us which one gets to come home with you.
See what trouble you can get into when you leave the house. I love both bikes. Do let us know about your "ride." I hope you get one of those license plates that reads - "Summer is a verb"

You must know the most fab photo of Audrey Hepburn!
ReplyDeleteShe is riding a bike like that, let me find it for you!!!!!
How can you resist the Lilly one?!
ReplyDeleteI would simply DIE to have a turquoise cruiser with white walls and a fab wicker basket. I've been asking for one for two years. My hubs says I'll never ride it. Well...I might not. But how cute would it look in my garage!
ReplyDeleteLOVE the hampton deluxe. Such a classic. You can't go wrong with style like that!
ReplyDeleteLOVE the Lilly bike! I bought a new road ike last spring and love it! I pulled out the other night to ride bikes with Hubby and the kids. So glad warm weather has returned!
ReplyDeleteHahaha, I love it! He didn't really think you were going to go in a store and not find something to buy now did he?
ReplyDeleteThat Lilly one is to die for! A friend of mine has the turquoise cruiser that JDB mentioned above and it is gorgeous!
I need that little basket on my pink cruiser!
ReplyDeleteI vote for pink! Pink shows off cute clothes and tan legs to maximum effect. Have fun!
ReplyDeletethe Lilly of course... The wrench totally did it for me! I mean how would you even consider anything but the Lilly? Like, adoy?!!! LOL :)
ReplyDeleteI have a little something for you over at my place!
Aww doggie in a basket <3 so cute!
ReplyDeleteOoh la la! I have a comfy bike, and so proud of it! I've tried gerry-rigging something for the pooch, but I lurve the Nantucket basket. Wonder if it could comfortably fit 16 pounds of terrier?
ReplyDeleteI have a beach cruiser amongst a few other rides! A beach cruiser with a basket and I love it! I hope you get one and keep us posted. The doggie is too cute.
ReplyDeleteA cat bike basket - why didn't I think of that when I was 12 years old?
ReplyDeleteAnd Target has a Liberty of London Cruiser for you.
ReplyDeleteADG...without a belt....

I love riding my beach cruiser while in FLorida, listening to the Ipod. It takes me back to my youth when riding a bicycle all over was such freedom. If you choose the Lilly , be sure to invest in a secure lock for it.
ReplyDeleteAlthough the Lilly is darling, I can attest to the comfort of the Hampton Cruiser.
ReplyDeleteLove the Wendy Burden interview!
ReplyDeleteGreat blog!
Good Lord, I love the Lilly...with the basket and the cute dog!
