The Turning Of The Corner

Outside of thee, couldn't pass on a 50% off sale Elizabeth McKay Scotland dress purchase and, my under frigid Northern duress search for just the right Moncler puffer, I have ceased all winter clothes shopping and informally begun creating my summer '12 wish list...

And, in keeping with tradition, I've got my eye on a couple pair of Canfora sandals right out o' the gate...

The Megan in gold...

Annnd, the Jenna in gold...

Sighhhh...flight's booked for 12 glorious days of sun worship on la playa and two pair of Canforas battling it out for the pole position. Things are looking up...

Kindness of everyone for, in my fantasy, being completely understanding yet, utterly heartbroken that I'm no longer going to post on Fridays. Per my attempt at resolutions, I need to spend a li'l less time in front of the computer and bit more time being active. As a creature of habit myself, I know this will disrupt a few routines soooo, may I suggest still stopping by per usual those days and perusing my blog roll? Outside of the usually mentioned suspects, my recent fav discoveries include the smart and witty Bourbon & Pearls, a much younger and prettier version of moi, Particularity, the swanky Firestone Sisters and my secret find, Keep It Chic. Just don't forget about li'l ole moi sniffle sniffle...XXOO

  1. If you get those Megan sandals, I have those same gold disks that I make into a long necklace...pretty fancy.

  2. Can't Lolly and Pilge post on your off day?

  3. I'm laughing away here, thank you but I think we are equals in everything, even our lust for Hermes and of course now you've switched me onto Elizabeth McKay.

  4. I will definitely miss reading your posts 5 days a week, but 4 or even one is better than none. And I read more than comment, so you wouldn't necessarily know that I'd miss reading. Anyway, ... here's to being more active and productive away from your computer. (I need to do that more at home, as I'm at my computer most all day at work. Eek!)

  6. Phooey for me, but brava for you. Better to live your real life and thanks for the faithful blogging no matter how many days a week is your standard. I love perusing both your blog and your links.

  7. I did some damage with EM's sale too. Wish I would have scored some more, but I guess I had to stop somewhere...that is, until her next sale.

This time I ended up with a Scotland Ruffle Dress, Elizabeth Ruffle Dress and Elizabeth Ruffle Blouse. Ruffles galore! What all did you get??

  8. Speaking of winter shopping, do you have those tall fleece socks Hunter makes to go with their wellies? I've had a hard time finding a pair, and thought I'd seek your expert advice! Now that CT is getting snow/slush/freezing rain (ew!), I think I'll be wearing my wellies quite often...so jealous you'll be getting a warm weather break soon :-)

  10. I do not have those HMC but, I was Darien Sport in Darien, CT last week and pretty certain I saw a girl buying a pair so you may want to give them a call. Otherwise, Nordstroms or Google is your best bet...XXOO

  11. Longtime reader; very infrequent commenter.

I'm so BUMMED that I'm not starting my Friday with you! But, I've adapted to life without Oprah, so, I suppose I will be OK.

Blogger girls make it look so easy - you all manage a relationship, household, career, fitness, social life, etc. AND a daily breezy post about something fun & hip.

I really never knew how much time went into it.

Is this 4 day thing permanent???? (Regardless, you're still my blog Queen)
