The Price Of Salt Air

We left the beach at noon yesterday and didn't roll into G'wich til well after 7pm. And, lemme tell ya, it was a looooong car ride that was particularly hard on Lolly...

Our li'l Leels prefers not to stray too far from her creature comforts like her shared arugula salad with Mummy every night...

Mobile litter facilities and a sloshing water bowl don't quite cut the mustard with her Highness. But, we made it home safe, even if a smidge less sound, and more importantly, we have arugula...

Kindness of Pilgie and Lolly for being brave li'l troopers under such duress. Ahhh, the price we're willing to pay just for a whiff of that salt air, right Ti-Babes? XXOO

What toppings and dressings do you put on your salad?

I put sprouts (sometimes 2 diff varieties), sprout seeds, goat cheese, arugula and lettuce mix, sunflower seeds, grape or cherry tomatoes, avacado, Wickles Pepper Strips, croutons and I only use extra-virgin olive oil as dressing. All organic, natch...XXOO

That sounds good! I'm trying to eat at least 1 salad a day on my diet and am always interested in different toppings. I adore avocados but they are too fatty for the diet.

GOOD fat though! And, so good for your skin and well being. Also, all the fiber I stuff into those salads keep you very full for a long time...XXOO

You're absolutely right. I'm doing hcg diet and it's a no no though. I had 2 ankle surgeries and gained quite a bit of weight sitting for over a year. So, I'm having to go rogue on my diet. Oh, but some avocado sounds amazing!
