Naughty AND Nice: A Girl And Her Horse

The path to a guy's heart is through his stomach. And, although the path to a girl's heart may blocked by her horse, it sure makes them easy to buy for...

Whether they're grownup...

Or little...

Girlie girls...

Or sporty girls...

Fun...

Orrr, all the above...

They usually have BIG hearts.  And, I've just made some room in mine...

Kindness of Babe who will take note that I consider myself girlie and sporty with a BIG heart. Hint hint...XXOO

  3. Now, do you think, that there's even a remooote chance I haven't already claimed Queenie as mine??? Pshaw, the virtual Hermès saddle's already hanging outside her stall!
But, if ever 'twas a gal worthy enough to share my pony B&P...XXOO

  4. LOVE the list! My fingers are crossed that a “Girlie” gift will be under my tree come Christmas. Growing up my trainer had a Hermes saddle so I was exposed to it at a young age...I didn’t quite know what it was but I knew it was VERY special! I can already picture a horse trailer hooked up to the whip as you and Queenie bop around Greenwich! xx

  5. This is a very cute post. Lots of goodies that I'm sure will find their way to under your tree.

There is a wonderful horse rescue down the road from my family's farm in Woodbine in Howard County. Days End Farm Horse Rescue was one of the first in the country to take in neglected and unwanted horses. In high school, I volunteered at the farm when it was a small operation with just a handful of horses. It's grown tremendously the last twenty years and can now house over 50 horses at a time.

  6. Reggie and Obie are cute. I've always had a soft-spot for greys and even my last ornery grey didn't spoil me on greys for life! I think I watched that Disney movie, "Horse in a Grey Flannel Suit" too many times as a child...

  9. Love this post. A horse really is a girl's first love. Mine was named Dino. I'll never forget him. I've already asked for the credit card wallet with jockey so fingers crossed. xoxo
