Thank you note writing...
Cashmere wearin'...
Kindness of Ali Culver for placing the engraved, hunting motif note cards in my crosshairs. Guys, shmuys, I want them in MY stocking! And, Babe, for exponentially increasing his brainpower with excessive Lego building as a child. The view from the first class seat of your smartypants coattails has been better than anything Santa could possibly bring...XXOO
I want that architecture set! My polo playing bf lives in those belts, however I'm trying to get him to wear the Wiley bros hoof pick. Good picks alice!
ReplyDeleteThose note cards are great!
ReplyDeleteFrank Lloyd Wright! I love this!
ReplyDeleteI've already ordered the Lego White House for my nephew and am seriously considering the entire Architect Series for youknowwho...XXOO
ReplyDeleteLove that stationary!!
ReplyDeleteI could barely put two lego bricks together, some boy folk built amazing things, that is quite the advanced set.
ReplyDeleteTerrapin Stationers???!!! That's great!
ReplyDeleteOmg, I just got that Patsy. And, I'm a Dead head too! My mind kept going to UMd...XXOO
ReplyDeleteOn an sorta but unrelated note - since you had the post about the great oyster knife - any tricks you know for opening oysters or do you have a favorite recipe for oyster stew? A friend from the Eastern Shore gave one to my father years ago; I haven't made it in years and can't find it!
ReplyDeleteYes. It's as simple as wearing a good glove, entering the knife at the hinge and twisting buuut, if you're a novice you should watch a youtube tutorial cuz you can really hurt yourself if you don't know what you're doing. I'd hate to send you off with such minimal direction only to have you return only sportin' a Capt'n hook.
ReplyDeleteAnd, we do have a great family recipe for oyster stew but, I temporarily moved my Cully Family cookbook to the attic to make room for my nutcrackers. Keep checking back and I'll post shortly...XXOO
Those belts are fun, I remember the gaucho shoes (I think they're alpargatas) that you could get for like $10... oddly enough, they look like Tom's that cost a heck of a lot more at Whole Foods! Something good about having the original instead.
