Shark Scarf Week: The Pochette Three Trick Pony

Everyone should have at least one pochette in their Hermès scarf arsenal. The pochette may play JV to the 90cm's Varsity but, they are a smidge less threatening while still managing to peg you as stylish...

If you're really clever, you'll find a way to parlay all three moves into one outing. You're friends and admirers will be très impressed...

And, for those of you curious as to how I store my scarves, I don't. I keep mine folded and stacked, front and center, on a shelf in my closet cuz, out of sight leads to out of mind. Not just my mind but, also the mind of any potential gift giver who may be sharing the same closet...

Kindness of everyone for turning a blind eye and ear to my jammie bottoms and half asleep self . My cameraman didn't return home for taping til well past my bedtime. Seriously considering docking him a pochette scarf purchase...XXOO

  2. Love the videos, Mrs Summerisaverb! And I am assuming you are pronouncing it poshay like you might call Target Targay and but knowing it is pronounced pocheTTe... N'est-ce pas? Wouldn't want les snooty Parisiennes snickering at Mme Summer during Christmas in Europe :-)

  3. Love! What may I ask, is that gorgeous blue circular object in front of your scarf collection?
P.S. Did I heard just a touch of an Eastern Shore accent in tonight's installment? My maternal grandfather and his family were from Talbot and Queen Anne's Counties so I know the twang well. ;-)

Have you ever worn an Hermes scarf as a halter under your jacket...I think that is the chicest ever.....even over a very lightweight t-!

  6. Lolly is brilliant - you could not have asked for a better supporting actress in an improvisational role than Lolly! And how appropriate that she starts to wash in the middle of it all.
    These videos are GREAT...don't stop.

  7. Ugh! Can I tell you how many retakes we did cuz I kept pronouncing it pocheTTe. Oh well, I'll just have to chalk it up to being too tired to trust my ingrained instincts past 11:30pm.

Yes PPGP, that is an Eastern Shore twang you hear, far worse around family, and usually launches Babe into humming banjo music at me. And, that gorgeous blue circular thing is an Hermès plisse scarf which you can reference here Speaking Of Uniform Staples...

Pshaw! Of course I have PVE! Me and the scarf as a halter go waaay backTrade Secret On Loan :)

Love this Scarf series, and although I don't own any Hermes (yet), I have a gargantuan assortment of Talbots and Echo wannabees. Can't wait to try some of your tying tricks!
