Gwynnie P's bed in her Nashville digs...
Annnd, after weeks of sleeping on the floor, Gwynnie P's stalker's newly arrived bed in G'wich...
Now, moving on to getting the lamps off the floor...
Kindness of Aide-de-Camp Lizzie from The House Downtown for all her help and patience (emphasis on the patience) with my Mitchell Gold + Bob Williams Yates/Gwynnie P bed. And, Babe for the LARGEST birthday present I've ever received. Thank you for buying me my bed Dilly...XXOO

Looks like the perfect bed to climb into with a good book. Very inviting.
ReplyDeleteLove it! Now you can sleep like a princess! Did you order a new mattress by any chance? I am in the market for a new one and would love feedback and recommendations!
ReplyDeleteya mean you are not doing those lovely brass wall sconces like Gwynnie?
ReplyDeletelooks like heaven.

Sweet dreams! And that is the PERFECT lamp. Must have it. I may just track it down and call it my Alice Lamp. You know you've made it when you have stalkers :)
ReplyDeleteLove the bed! And the rest of the crib isn't too shabby either from the glimses you've shown... I love your style and you are far from boring!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great birthday present! and the lamps are gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteI'm with PVE, the wall sconces are to die for, as is the bed. Babe, you've outdone yourself! Many sweet dreams to you both and the ti-babes. xoxo
ReplyDeleteOoohh, that room looks super cozy!
ReplyDeleteLove the sketch (?) of you as a girl - it's you, right? I have one of me as a baby that I stole, er, inherited.
Oh, Allie, I, too, need those sconces. They're perfect. If you ever, ever come across the source of said sconces, I do hope you'll post that on your blog.
ReplyDeleteSorry, I forgot to insert the link for the Ralph Lauren lamps but it's up now. As far GP's sconces, all it say's under the pic is, "Lights, A steal from a showroom floor, $250".
ReplyDeleteYes, we did get a new Laura Ashley mattress from Sleppy's. Nothing too fancy needed as our Yves de Lorme beast of a featherbed from Sweden would give the Princess and the Pea a run for her money.
And, 'tis moi, age 14, in the charcoal. White Skyre turtleneck, hunter green Bean Shetland with suede elbow patches and a head full of chlorine depicted with a lot of white. Remember it like it was yesterday...XXOO
love the paint color on your walls! please share...?
ReplyDeleteOh jeesh, we didn't pick/paint these colors. The walls came painted and will remain so as this is just a temp rental. But, to generally answer your question, the bedroom walls are a real pale celery green...XXOO
ReplyDeleteI adore Mitchell + Gold furniture, especially since it is well made in the USA. Sweet dreams in your new bed.
