Wickles

I've developed quite the Wickles habit in the past couple of months...

The Wickles Pickles initially caught my eye in Teeters with their clever packaging but, it's the secret 70 year old family recipe that ensnared me in my three jars per week habit...

And, we're nearly going through as many jars of their Relish with all the tuna fish making that goes down in this house...

But, I may have to fire up the Sikorsky for the Wicked Okra cuz the Teeters at the beach has us pigeonholed as strictly pickles and relish folk...

Wait til my sister Julie finds out they also make Wicked Pepper Rings...

Annnd, Wicked Pepper Strips, both of which she loads into her nightly salad. I saw how much energy she put into just tracking down the Pickles across the bridge soooo, if ya hear chopper blades in Annapolis chances are...

Meanwhile, I'm toying with resurrecting our family's long retired sub night habit just for the excuse to use their Sub Relish. Of course, once Babe reads there once existed a "sub night" (here's where the angels break out in chorus for him) it'll be reinstated like, tonight...

Kindness of my sister Genevieve who will please check the shelves on her weekly Whole Foods run for any of the newly discovered Wickles products. It'll help save on the Sikorsky fuel...XXOO

  1. I've never tried them. I may have to pick up a jar on my next trip to Publix or Fresh Market. There are made right here in Alabama.

  11. What is it that makes these so good or different from other pickles? Are they sweet? Tangy, snappy, what?

  14. I have an awesome white trash habit of eating jalapeno slices straight from the jar. Looks like I have a new brand to try.

  17. I just happened upon your blog through a friend - you are so funny to read! I would very much like the opportunity to add to your Wickles enjoyment - if I may...
Being an Alabama transplant to the DC area, I was very happy when they started stocking the local shelves at Harris Teeter with these gems. My sister used to send them to me until they put their website up and you can order them online.
    They are... amazing.
My addition - the Wickles Pickles make excellent garnish for vodka martinis... if you're into that.
