Queue up the Claridge + King's boxer to segue me into warm weather lounge wear...
Since Julie and the girls all have the crisp white and light blue set on order, I think I'll go for the ice pink and charcoal stripe...
White thread for my ice pink pair, and Peony Pink glammin' up the charcoal stripe...
Babe just called en route home from my reprieve his West Coast and back in a day jaunt to let me know the car shopping will resume upon his return. Gulp. Better add these to my lounge wear wish list...
Kindness of Diane at Gracie in Easton for expecting my Claridge + King boxer order to roll in bright and early post Easter Monday. And, Babe, for understanding that all day car shopping for a girl is the equivalent of all day clothes shopping for a guy. I like watching you test driving sports cars about as much as you like watching me try on half the Hermès store. Seveeere boredom mixed with sweat trickling down your back inducing hefty price tag anxiety...XXOO
i MUST have these!! they are now added to my seemingly never-ending wishlist...towards the top of the list, however!
ReplyDeletethose shorts would be great for bridesmaid gifts....the wheels are churning
ReplyDeleteGirrrrl, you two are SO great for the economy, keep that patriotic spirit going, love it when you buy American like these really neat boxers, but that Hermes habit, ooooo well you're helping keep the mall open and the rent paid. I'm furious with my Teeter, they don't care about us down here on Amelia Island FL, one little jar on the shelf so I brought it home, now will be after the store manager to get with it on the pepper strips and rings. Many thanks for the heads up on Wickles.
ReplyDeleteLove it! I sometimes live in lounge wear and whether it be cheap or expensive, I always require it to be cute! Even when I was in university and hungover, I was always the girl with the cute sweats and t-shirts in my 8:30 am classes with a matching mug for coffee of course! Love the boxers!
ReplyDeleteThose are fab! The Peony pink is a great choice for the charcoal! LOVE!
ReplyDeleteHmmmmm. I'm relatively new to your blog and am confused about where you live...but it sounds like your husband travels during the week and you live at a beach in the mid-Atlantic region, right? If that's correct, I'm going to further assume you have to pick him up at the airport or train station on Friday nights and you certainly need transportation during the week. And sports cars can't just "sit", they have to be driven. Soooooo, the difference between shopping for a car for Babe and shopping at Hermes for you is that you get to drive the car (again, assuming Babe doesn't wear your purchases!) I think I'd be very interested in helping Babe pick out a sports car - especially if it's a convertible. Driving a convertible at the beach would be a lot of fun and if you need someone to ride shotgun, I'm available!
ReplyDeleteSpot on with all your assumptions. Minus me prefering to play chauffeur in an SUV or wagon :)
ReplyDeleteOh Alice! I didn't have you pegged for a jammies until noon kind of gal! I am all about some stylish jammies and getting ready to make the transition from pants to boxers- you crack me up as always : ) Love the new resource. Have a great weekend!! xo KO
ReplyDeleteAs your newest follower, I want to tell you how cute these monogrammed jammies are! Another one of the many things on my wish list.
