And, somehow wound up at the Jules Reid/Sissy Yates Trunk Show...
Any pretense I had of swinging by for just a quicksie hello was shed when I crossed that Sherman Pickey threshold. Seeing Jules designs en masse alongside loads of Sissy's bling was too much for my already weakened, deprived self. I caved for the Teddy in Large Green Kiwi and my inaugural Sissy Yates semi-precious forgot to ask which stone necklace...
Penance came the next morn in the form of forfeiting breakfast at the Jockey Club for a très early start on the road, ensuring us home in time for the Masters, with a Cracker Barrel pit stop en route. Guessinggg the most expensive CB breakfast Babe's ever had...
Kindness of Babe for being so forgiving, Jules for insisting I try on The runs small Leo before leaving so I'd know what size to order, and Sissy for helping me choose between which gorgeous necklace was most worth a Cracker Barrell breakfast. (whispers) I'll be back for the purple one laterrr...XXOO

I am proud of you for making this long...Jules Reid and Sissy Yates are both relapse worthy! Playing that peg game at Cracker Barrel is the only time I have beaten JCW at anything...which makes me a huge fan of the restaurant! xx
ReplyDeleteThe necklaces is to die for! Adding it to this list :)
ReplyDeleteTsk tsk (wink wink). Love that necklace! My husband likes CB too, what on earth do you like to eat there?
ReplyDeletewhen breaking lenten promises, the rule is go big or go home....excellent job!
ReplyDeletethe stones could be blueberry quartz, chalcedony, lapis.....
I don't like to shop for anything except books and folk art but I'm curious about how you handle all your wonderful things. Do you have massive closets and storage space or do you get new things each season and get rid of everything from the previous season?
ReplyDeleteSounds like a rather superb weekend getaway. C. Barrel is my Mums favorite stop off while traveling as well. Have an exceptional week.
ReplyDeleteLOVE your new finds!!! Simply adore!
ReplyDeleteWhat do I like to eat at Cracker Barrel? Ketchup. Looots and lots of ketchup. I am not an egg and bacon kind of girl. But, I do love a biscuit with butter and jam. And, in reference to my closet/purchases, I run a very tight ship. If it's no longer worn I have sisters and nieces lined up to relieve me of most discarded items...XXOO
ReplyDeletePretty necklace. And I really the rare trip to Cracker Barrel- usually on the NJ turnpike of all places.
ReplyDeletehehehhe...if anything is worth breaking your lent, i think it's jules reid!
