Work Wardrobe

Now, before you hasten to judgement, let me just say in my defense that beginning in a few weeks I'm pretty much in a bikini from sun up til sundown. So, it's only practical that I build a excessive modest wardrobe of swimwear to get me through the summer...

Of course, we have theee white contender sure to get so much wear that it'll be forced into an early August retirement...

And the "once I see results from my grueling P90Xhaustive workouts and not a moment before" teenie weenie number...

I had this in white last year and wore it into the ground so, this year I'm test driving it in black which is sure to look smashing against the background of an Hermes beach towel, if one should land on my lap...

And, the pièces de résistance, are the two Pucci numbers I snagged during the unsupervised portion of my NYC trip...

But, once I sashay out on to the beach in this...

...or this all bronzed, blonde and lubed up in Bain De Soleil gelee, Babe will likely be past any protesting. That 'tis my plan I'm I'm holding to it...

And, just in case I find myself in need of another bikini before summer's out, I have this skimpster cued up in my virtual shopping basket ready to be called into the game at a moments notice...

Kindness of Babe who will hopefully, before choking on his Morning Dew, take under consideration the fact that I am promising to hang up my shopping spurs for a couple of months. Gifts, however, are always welcome...XXOO

  1. Heehee, the "unsupervised portion" of your trip was quite productive! In your defense (and mine!) living at the beach has a price doesn't it? :-) Babe will not care one little bit when you strut out in one of these numbers. XOXO

  2. Super cute little itsy bitsy bikinis! Love them all, and I am sure Babe loves seeing you in them :) How's P90X going for you? I so wish we lived closer so I had someone to do it with, I am intrigued and just need a buddy to link up with to help keep me motivated and accountable!

  3. I seriously think the Hermes beach towel is no longer a luxury item, but a true necessity. I mean if you are to labor most of the day in a lovely bikini, do you not have to have the beach towel so as not to violate dress code? Yes, you do.

  4. Did you ever think of being a personal shopper to some celeb? Seriously star quality suits! Is there a cover-up on hand, cause I might (would) need that for my own modesty issues.

  8. If I looked good in a teensy bikini I would work it all day long too!
I was just thinking last night that soon all of my 'meetings' will be taken at 'the office' once my pool is open!

  9. Ahh, what a life, a bikini all day, everyday. These suits are definitely a necessity then.

My problem is I buy five, and only end up wearing the one I love the most. But I guess if it WAS everyday, I would probably want to change it up a bit, especially if they were all these cute. Babe won't mind once he sees you in them. I've got to get going on my workouts too, beach trips with bikinis here I come!

  10. Oh, for the days of feeling confident in a bikini. I still wear one....but it is ALWAYS under wraps as I rarely take off my cover up! But, if you've got it, flaunt it!

  11. I have also been thinking about expanding my swimwear wardrobe, but as there is now a history of skin cancer in the family, they will be more modest one-pieces.

  12. I think I have finally found a difference between CVS & Walgreens (this has kept me up at night)..Walgreens carries Bain de Soleil and CVS does not. I want it just for the smell...so I can pretend I still buy bikinis, still have a bikini body and still have that villa in Cap D'Antibles. Okay, scratch that last one.
