Glutton For Massages

It wasn't torturous enough that my wake up call was scheduled for 4am to catch my plane to Ixtapa so, Continental threw in a 3am bonus ringy dingy just to let me know my flight was on time. Needless to say, I am pooped. Here, but pooped.

After a week of P90Xhaustion, and the très early morning, I couldn't hustle down the beach to massage "tent city" fast enough upon my arrival. My father is horrified at the thought of how unsanitary these sand spa conditions are and tried in vain to talk me out of going...

In one ear and out the other. I have never turned my nose up at a massage of any kind. For $25 an hour, ummm I'll take a shower afterwards...

Kindness of Babe for working so hard to allow me trips to Ixtapa and unsanitary beach massages til my lil heart and sore body's content. Good thing he's not here though. I'd have TWO germaphobes trying to rain on my massage parade...XXOO

  2. While not on the beach, their are a plethora of locations in the District great massages at a fraction of the cost of the high end salons.

    Hollar.

  5. Good lord. It's not as though they are massaging the inside of your nasal passages. Are they?

  6. Have fun! I'm insanely jealous. We are renting a house in Florida over spring break - not the same but still excited.

  10. My husband is the GM of MINT fitness in Adams Morgan. They have great massages!!! And you can work out beforehand at the gym, even if you aren't a member, steam or sauna and then have a killer massage all for about $100 bucks and hour.

  11. Oh I would kill for a $25 hour massage. I'd get one everyday. Clean enough for me! And I would have figured Babe would be the non germophobe being Oscar to your Felix (or is it Felix to your Oscar?...I get them mixed up)...I thought you were the anal one and he was the relaxed one.
