I think I may wrap things up a smidgeroon early this Easter week and I've worked really hard today on my big list of legitimate excuses why:
- I'm feeling quite handicapped without my appendage of a computer
- My allergies having me falling asleep in my soup every night
- And, I would literally crawl over cut glass for that soup I've been so ravenous
Plus, Emma and Hilary will be home Thursday and I want in on the itinerary of fun which includes seeing Alice in Wonderland. Now, if I can score those Peeps in time for the movie, the most coveted seat in the theater will be the one riiiggghhht next to moi...
Kindness of Babe who will miss my posts more than anyone. I promise to substitute with a lot of picture texts and BBM's Gorgie. And we can't wait to see you, however brief it will be, this weekend. Just don't get your hopes up for any leftover Peeps...XXOO
I never liked Peeps - but chocolate covered Peeps I'll have to try...especially the dark chocolate ones after reading about the health benefits of a daily dose of dark chocolate!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE THE DARK CHOCOLATE ONES! They're heavenly!
ReplyDeletei loathe peeps, but the addition of dark chocolate may be cause to reconsider. hmmm....
ReplyDeletefeel better and happy easter, dearest!
I love peeps like no one else! Its the only sweet thing I can have in the house that I know the Mr. won't go after:) Pink Peeps will always be my favorite- I literally had a convo with myself about whether I liked the yellow or the pink better. Pink won lol.
ReplyDeleteI love peeps and the dark chocolate ones, to die for! I will have to be on the look for those.
ReplyDeleteHope you have a wonderful Easter!
O-M-G! Chocolate covered peeps!? Who knew!??? Well ... I never. So, I tagged you! Play along. Xoxo-BLC
ReplyDeleteThese are wonderful!!! My Mom has been making her own choc. covered peeps for a few years now, but being the lazy girl I am these allow me to enjoy the calories without the hard work!
ReplyDeleteThe peeps alone are enough excuse to take a break! Enjoy your family time with the darlin' ADPi's. They are afterall first and finest I believe the saying goes. Hoping you have nothing but sunshine, smiles, peeps, and Babe time! xoxo
ReplyDeleteYou can find them at the Walgreens at 22nd and M near the Ritz in DC. :) Happy Peeping!
ReplyDeleteI am the strange one that likes my peeps stale, but the idea of a chocolate covered one...mmm yummy. I can see that I will be packing on a few pounds when we land in AZ...too many 'good' foods to get my hands on again.
ReplyDeleteIf I was still on speaking terms with you I'd tell you how much LFG and I enjoyed seeing Alice in 3-D the other day butcept I'm not speaking to you so I won't tell you.
ReplyDeleteLFG/ADG
I have never understood the cult following of Peeps, maybe with choclate I can be converted.
ReplyDeleteI'm with Mr. Devine on this one. Maybe a bourbon infused version would hit home...
ReplyDeleteHappy Easter!
Oh my goodness!! Chocolate covered Peeps! They'd BETTER not be sold out when I go shopping tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteBourbon infused peeps, my ears popped straight up!
ReplyDeleteHope the NYTimes article made you feel a bit perkier.
