Well, I was on that like flies on youknowwhat...
It's taking every ounce of restraint I have not to "help" my brows along too...
Thankfully, ooooone too many teenage memories of seeing Sun-In gone wrong at the pool are haunting enough to keep my Controlled Lightening Spray trigger finger in check...
God forbid this Blondilocks gets mistaken as not being au natural...
*The shampoo/conditioner combo you can use out the wazoo but, that spray is so powerful I've only pulled it out three times. Also, I can't speak for how it works on hair that isn't, or once was, naturally blond and isn't soaking up salt water and sun pretty regularly so please use with caution. Annnd, this is right about where on a script it would say in small print, Can Be Highly Addictive...
Kindness of superhairmodel Hilbils for the fab find. It ranks right up there with the Carrot Oil discovery that swept the beach in '01...XXOO
I always love it when a friend gives me a product gold mine.
ReplyDeleteHave a lovely week :)
Oooh, I have this shampoo and conditioner, but I'm afraid to use the spray... Her hair looks lovely though!
ReplyDeleteWill try it on my dyed do but you make it sound a teeny bit scary !....Nice to have you back, btw !
ReplyDeleteI love this stuff too!! Hope you're having a fabulous summer, Alice :)
ReplyDeletexo
I have been using Sun In this summer for the first time since high school on my light brown hair and it has made it an entire shade lighter! I love it as I don't have to pay for highlights this summer! I will check out this product line.
ReplyDeleteI've been using the spray in for ages now...and I love it! Even my hairdresser can't tell it's not natural highlights :O)
ReplyDeleteOk... I'm curious... it won't hurt my highlights??
ReplyDeleteWonderful!! Can't wait to try it!! Can't access my blog account..waiting for pw reset..aargh...so I am now anonymous! But I love you and your blog...glad you tiptoed back from your summer hiatus...now go back to the beach!!! Xo
ReplyDeleteHasn't hurt mine. Enhaaances them. And, the spray is an answered prayer for those gone too long b/t appts roots :)

ReplyDeletePlease come back soon hard to start day without you!!!!
ReplyDeleteI use the shampoo/conditioner and love it. So afraid to try the spray. I thought about going dark and took a poll of my fans and it was a 'resounding' STAY BLONDE! I'm just afraid of lookin' like a bleach blonde tart...
ReplyDeleteAt first I thought that read beach blond tart and I was like, don't be hatin' Kathie but, upon re read I picked up the "L" ;)
ReplyDeleteAnd, sorry but, just a pop in. Altho, not ruling out more...XXOO
I am so trying this; her hair is gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteVery good to know...like you I am hightailing it to CVS come 9am tomorrow morning!! Hey, if we can get a little help why not? Thanks for the heads up!
ReplyDeleteHello, friend!! I'm going to check out the price on the spray because I'll bet you a bottle of carrot oil the price is nothing compared to the price I pay for my six week touch up. Thanks for the tip!
ReplyDeletenice blondie recipe!
ReplyDeletepve
So great to have you back, even if just for a day!
ReplyDeletePop in again! How are your needlepoint projects coming along.
ReplyDeleteBarbaraG
Welp, I had a rude awakening when I pulled out my needlepoint on the beach this summer. I can no longer see to do it w/o my glasses. Now it's my desire to needlepoint on the beach w/my much needed sunnies vs sticking contacts in my eyes which literally makes me pass out :(
ReplyDeleteYou may have to resort to bifocal sunglasses. I did :(
DeleteI had the same damn problem :-(
DeleteThinking of eyebobs sunreaders.....
~sigh~
Cripes me too - bifocal sunglasses, what is happening to us?
DeleteHave missed you... please do share about the carrot oil - the name/brand, and what does it do. Thanks.
ReplyDeleteClick on the Carrot Oil link. It's a tanning accelerator reminiscent of the ole Baby Oil/iodine combo of yore...XXOO
ReplyDeleteGreat to have you temporarily back!!
ReplyDeleteSun-in! Bwahahahaha..... I can still picture me in the backyard spraying that in my hair. Good times.
ReplyDeleteJust bought the shampoo and conditioner. Love it!
ReplyDeleteThis makes me want to race out, go blonde and dress like Carolyn Bessette Kennedy, I love blonde highlighted hair.
ReplyDeleteSo glad I'm catching up on you...must run to the Teet immediately!!! xoxo
ReplyDeleteAh yes, that's a cult favourite for many, but I have still yet to try it!
