WWHD?

When I needed to order some every day flatware to replace our broken down, pretty but not well made, bamboo handled sets I asked myself, WWHD??? Or, what would Hermes do?

Orvis whispered back this...

Kindness of Babe for believing me when I say, this is the ooonly splurge of the move I promise! Wink, kiss, kiss...XXOO

  1. Well. When you consult an oracle you can't exactly quibble over the recommendation. I think it's a wise, laudable choice!

  4. Love these...I went to look at them on the Orvis site...BUT they have to be washed by hand! There are a number of reviews that said they fall apart. The Orvis Customer Service said the flatware was re-designed to be dishwasher safe, but they still recommend hand washing.

I've got knives that need to be hand washed - which is fine - but I just can't hand wash all of the flatware! Too bad - I love the look!

  5. Enjoy and keep count of the beautiful bone Alice!
I recently purchased 4 boxes (32 place settings) of Chinoiserie Chic bamboo look, all stainless flatware from Target that are indestructable, kid proof and always look great for large parties. Keeping my Tiffany silver safe from migration to far off bedrooms and TV lounges for now.

  10. I so love our fancy stainless flatware, it's worth every penny my parents spend on a place setting for our anniversary every year. Hopefully we'll end up with a lifetime supply, as Waterford is no more.

  12. I hope to inherit a bone carving set that was my granddaddy's.

Re: Trad, bone, Maxminimus-over the top funny. You are hilarious.

Is natch short for naturally? I'm finally catching on after all these months.
