Well. When you consult an oracle you can't exactly quibble over the recommendation. I think it's a wise, laudable choice!
ReplyDeleteLooks like the perfect partner for your wasp gastronomy. I love the handle, it says fall!

Question is, whose bone?
ReplyDeleteThat is worth moving! Anything that comes in bone or horn is a no-brainer! xx
ReplyDeleteLove these...I went to look at them on the Orvis site...BUT they have to be washed by hand! There are a number of reviews that said they fall apart. The Orvis Customer Service said the flatware was re-designed to be dishwasher safe, but they still recommend hand washing.
ReplyDeleteI've got knives that need to be hand washed - which is fine - but I just can't hand wash all of the flatware! Too bad - I love the look!
Enjoy and keep count of the beautiful bone Alice!
ReplyDeleteI recently purchased 4 boxes (32 place settings) of Chinoiserie Chic bamboo look, all stainless flatware from Target that are indestructable, kid proof and always look great for large parties. Keeping my Tiffany silver safe from migration to far off bedrooms and TV lounges for now.
Why Maxminimus's bone, natch. And, he would require hand washing. But, it'll have to do til I can swing Hip Waldorf's Tiffany's...XXOO
ReplyDeletemy parents work for orvis so i get these babies for 50% off. thanks for pointing them out! i know what's going on my growing christmas list...
ReplyDeleteTotally dig this - and perfect time for fall to boot.
ReplyDeleteplease send fenwick address asap so i can forward some funky "bone-handled" cutlery i have. but beware of the verrrry sharp knives.
ReplyDeleteI so love our fancy stainless flatware, it's worth every penny my parents spend on a place setting for our anniversary every year. Hopefully we'll end up with a lifetime supply, as Waterford is no more.
ReplyDeleteFabulous looking flatware!
ReplyDeleteVery nice. Well worth the splurge.
ReplyDeleteI hope to inherit a bone carving set that was my granddaddy's.
ReplyDeleteRe: Trad, bone, Maxminimus-over the top funny. You are hilarious.
Is natch short for naturally? I'm finally catching on after all these months.
They came and I luuuv them...XXOO
ReplyDeleteLovely choice
ReplyDeleteWWHD? A shopping philosophy to live by!
ReplyDeleteLove! Except the not-dishwasher-safe part.
ReplyDeleteY'all stop picking on me or I'm calling the Upper-Arm and Neck Tone Police.
ReplyDeleteLove them, now I want them too!
