Let Them Eat Petits Fours!

Someone once left a comment labeling me "the Marie Antoinette of the blogosphere". I, of course, accepted, not in the spirit it was meant but, in the spirit of Kirsten Dunst's enviable wardrobe in the Sophia Coppola movie...

Annnd, possibly the abundance of champers and petits fours...

So, it's my destiny that I must have the Jules Reid Paris inspired Gown of Love, the Parisienne, in Tiger Lavender...

Or, do I want it in the Blue Elephant print? I think in true Marie Antoinette fashion I should have BOTH...

Kindness of Babe for funding my holiday pilgrimage to Petit Trianon. Now, if I could only use MY charm, personality and beauty to snag us invites to soirées while abroad so I could debut my beautiful new gowns...XXOO

  1. I love that movie. I also have "Marie Antoinette: The Journey" which the movie is based on sitting on my nightstand. I love all things relating to queens but MA is my favorite. I have written two term papers about her.

  4. That is one of my most favorite movies! Such a feast for the eyes. I have to admit, as a child of the 80's, the soundtrack is pretty epic also, one of my faves.

  10. The Marie Antoinette Of The Blogosphere? I was born and raised in the Bronx. I work the night shift at a hospital in the Bronx. The whole department reads your blog and takes fashion tips from it. The love that you have for your husband and family shines through everything. As does your great kindness. Negative comments,**** them. This Bronx/Irish girl has your back.
