Pass The Linen Hankie Please

I just dispatched the heartbreaking news to Emma in Australia...

Sadly, Camilla Bradley is shutting her Newport last set of CKB doors. I'm drowning my sorrows in a pint of Ben & Jerry's Mint Chocolate Chunk. Weeell, more precisely, just the chocolate chunks dug outta Babe's pint of Mint Chocolate Chunk. And, I'm convincing myself that Camilla has a ski line up her debut sleeve. Time shall tell...

To make up for the bad news, I'm rolling out just one more li'l trivia contest. This time, theee very first person to correctly guess BOTH of my favorite flowers will walk away with the much coveted Meg Carter big pearl, little lapis studs. Everyone...friends, family, awake and advantaged West Coasters...is eligible. Sooo, let the game begin!

Kindness of the generous
Meg Carter for offering such a fabulous giveaway treat. Once again, I will have to sit on my own hands come midnight. The best I can hope for is that a sister or niece will pull through on this one and I can at the very least borrow the studs...XXOO

  2. Hmmmph. I am not exactly a West Coaster, but I did grow up in California. Anyway I will politely refrain from this contest, mainly because I already own those fabbo earrings. Ha ha!

  3. This is so sad. I remember walking by her first store all the time and was so impressed by the business she had created.

I'm a semi-new follower so here is my guess: hydrangeas & peonies. Well, those are my favs at least :)

  18. If we both like green, I could attempt to apply logic and guess that your favorite flowers are zinnias and gardenias.
    Very sad about CKB closing....

  25. Allie, you were the first person I thought of when I saw the farewell from CKB... I am so sad they are calling it quit for now.
However, what is that I hear? A sigh of relief from babe? One down babe but MANY more to go, I dont think Hermes is going out of business anytime soon :)
