Lotus And Lilly

I can't recall where I stumbled upon Lotus and Lilly. More than likely it was a page "suggestion" on Facebook that somehow slipped passed my velvet rope...

And, I'm sure I'm the last one at this party but, like they say, better late well dressed than never...

If only my Adys purchase had arrived before I left for Montauk. It would have looked perf with my white pants and Ralph Lauren silk sweater that I'm am stubbornly refuuusing to pack up yet...

And, these are not made with just any ole Lilly Pulitzer fabric. They're vintage...

And, not just vintage as in old. Vintage as in original...

Vintage as in touched by the hand of Lilly P herself. Moment of reverence please...

Alas, my Adys will eventually be put into cedar storage for the season along with the white pants and silk sweater. But, there's a chance. Just a weensie chance...

That I could make the Butterfly and Dragon clutch work through winter. Whaaat! Well, it does have RED in it she said defensively...

Kindness of whoever sent me the
Lotus and Lilly page suggestion on Facebook. Now, if I were a betting gal, I'd put my money on it having been Shopaholic in Alabama. That girl's like the Lilly Pulitzer whisperer...XXOO

  9. Gorgeous! Love the old Key West Handprints fabric - sadly, they closed in 2009 (I think), but Suzie Zuzek is still designing fabric at 88!

  10. I say if you love the Butterfly and Dragon clutch just use it. That may not be keeping with what is acceptable, but I believe that things you love don't require a proper time to be used. (accept for the color white and the labor day rule)
I love all of them. So classic and colorful.

  12. Really pretty stuff. I own several vintage Lilly fabric items, like headbands, purse mirrors, etc, from Etsy crafters. You would not believe the world of stuff available from Etsy with vintage Lilly. Its amazing.

  13. I am only guilty of sending you Berger Cookie and Furminator Facebook suggestions...but if only I could find a clutch to match my vintage Lilly lime blazer (yes, it's a gentleman's blazer.)
