Yo...Like you, I grew up eating those oysters too. You should try some of the oysters from Prince Edward Island - especially those from Colville Bay. The water is colder and saltier; the oysters are delicious. You could probably get them easier in Greenwich than we can in VA where the cost is $50/dozen!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8297007378564032670.post-8669932853380296972011-11-22T13:55:45.685-05:002011-11-22T13:55:45.685-05:00That looks absolutely amazing! That looks absolutely amazing!Living Life in the Lowcountryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15953742689295048215noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8297007378564032670.post-52825328099046640262011-11-22T12:28:47.067-05:002011-11-22T12:28:47.067-05:00Love Bon Ton Fish Market & love oysters so thi...Love Bon Ton Fish Market & love oysters so this looks like a whole bunch of amazing. xxAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8297007378564032670.post-69354969266068775692011-11-22T11:21:14.848-05:002011-11-22T11:21:14.848-05:00I so love oyster dressing! Much to my continued disappointment, southerners, especially Texans, are very devoted to their cornbread (ick) stuffing and look at me crazily when I even talk about oyster dressing. One exception is my friend Sally's mother. I have spent the last six Thanksgivings with Sally's family. Sally's mother is a very elegant & gracious Dallas grande dame and when she heard I was coming for their dinner and that I grew up in Baltimore, she proactively made oyster dressing just for me. I adore that woman.PrepinTXhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10055941070462341404noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8297007378564032670.post-67746545013954381352011-11-22T10:52:41.539-05:002011-11-22T10:52:41.539-05:00Thanks for this recipe!
